陶器との出会いは、子どものころに近所で見つけられた須恵器の陶片。その泥臭い「モノ」に興奮したのが最初の出会いだったという青木。

陶片とその陶片状のモノの「COMPOSITION（構成）」が制作のテーマとなっている。
様々な表情を見せる陶器の集合体。今回出品する作品は陶片の集合体であるが、色土を何層にも重ね、それを掌で握ったような触覚性の強い作品となっている。

子どもの頃に拾った須恵器のかけらから、時間を経て様々なコトを経験した青木による陶片の組み合わせによる造形を観ていただきたい。

Aoki Ken's first encounter with pottery was when he found a shard of sueki pottery in his neighborhood as a child. He was excited by this earthy "thing" and that was his first encounter with pottery.
The theme of his work is the "composition" of pottery shards and pottery-like objects.
An assembly of pottery that shows various expressions. The work being exhibited this time is an assembly of pottery shards, but it is made of multiple layers of colored clay, giving it a strong tactile feel, as if you were holding it in your palm.

Please come and see the sculptures that Aoki has created by combining pottery shards, having experienced many things over time since the shard of sueki pottery he picked up as a child.
